After a music education at the University of Colorado in Piano Performance and Voice, Lenee began a Christian concert ministry overseas at American Military Chapels, and churches throughout the United States.

Although she was the daughter of a minister, her early years were spent in rebellion, wandering far from her Christian roots. As rebellion ran its course, she found that life without Christ simply led to a dead-end, becoming hopelessly entangled in the things the world had to offer, with no peace to be found.

Turning her life completely over to the Lord Jesus Christ, God began to change her heart, reclaiming wasted years.

During her travels, Lenee met and married Bob Schroeder who was also a gospel singer, and together they continued singing in churches across the land. After a battle with Parkinson’s disease, Bob went home to be with the Lord in 2007.

Lenee and Bob recorded 15 albums and much of the arranging was done by Lenee. Now, she continues with music on her own, in concerts, conferences, and special Christian events. She also speaks at Women’s Conferences and Retreats, uniquely blending music and teaching that motivates and encourages all who attend her programs.

For 10 years, during Bob’s illness, Lenee was the Director of Music at Christ United Methodist Church in Venice, Florida. After retiring from her position at the church, she is once again in full-time Christian ministry.
